He2 Plus Washer Door Locked

Pull the door open.

He2 plus washer door locked. To manually unlock and open the door remove the bottom front service panel reach up into the cabinet and pull down on the manual release tab on the bottom of the door lock switch assembly. Remove the bottom front service panel as shown in the first image below. Carefully reach up the inside of the front panel and pull the release tab on the bottom of the door lock assembly. Unplug the washer to completely disconnect electrical power.

Check all the green wires ground harnesses system are notbroken or wires detached. Ok check the door switch lock unit running the drain cycle. Remove the lower toe panel by removing the screws along the bottom edge. If the door lock receiver is clear check the wire harness connections between the door lock switch assembly and the main electronic control board.

Reach up behind the front panel and pull down on a pull ring that is attached to the bottom of the door lock mechanism to manually unlock the door. Remove lower cover and drain by opening the pump filter. You can manually unlock the washer door by following these steps. Disconnect the power cord from the power source.

Clear any debris or objects from the receiver. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Timer does not decrement water does not enter. Then pull the door open.

Check the two ground switches are pressed correctly by the toe and rear panels. Start cycle causes door to lock but then nothing more. Remove the lower front panel from the front of the washer by removing the 3 screws in the bottom of it.
