God Close The Door And Open The Window

God close the door and open the window. There is a wide open door for a great work here although many oppose me. God may for a time leave us in a room with the door firmly closed without the refreshment of an open window. Not because he wants us to be miserable but because his plans are what is best for us. The truth is god does open and close doors and windows.

When timothy comes don t intimidate him. Lest you think i m whining for the sake of appeasing my own self pity let me explain to you why i used that example. When god closes a door he opens a window is not the kind of colloquial wisdom to build your life on. It shows that god does close doors but he doesn t always open a window.

He does this not to fulfill our plans and desires but to establish his purposes. This is the first part of god s will because he is not willing that any of us should perish in hell. So then before we begin to look at what it means for god to open and close doors we must understand god s will for our lives. Not because he d be embarrassed if you walked in on him but because he wouldn t want you to become embarrassed.

When god closes a bathroom door he always locks it. He knows our hearts better than we know ourselves. When god closes a door he may leave you in the dark for a season until he speaks to you out of the whirlwind. As i just mentioned we must come to the knowledge and acceptance of salvation.

God did not open a window to something better for us. He s cool like that. God is to be our guide.
